Vacancy Details & Salary Structure
The recruitment is for two distinct categories. Candidates must check the reservation status and pay scale before applying.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must strictly adhere to the educational and age limits mentioned in the advertisement.
Educational Qualification
- For Process Server:
- Must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Must have knowledge of the Assamese language.
- For Peon:
- Minimum: Must be Class VIII (8) passed.
- Maximum: Candidates must have passed Class VIII but should not have passed HSSLC/HS (Class 12).
- Note: Candidates who have passed HSSLC (Class 12) or above are INELIGIBLE to apply. A notarized affidavit regarding the highest educational qualification must be submitted.
Age Limit (As on 01.01.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age:
- OBC/MOBC: 43 Years
- SC & ST (H): 45 Years
- Relaxation for PwBD candidates is applicable as per government rules.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a Written Examination followed by a Viva-Voce/Interview.
For Process Server:
- Written Examination: 100 Marks (2 Hours).
- Syllabus: English, General Awareness, Mathematical Ability, Aptitude, and Knowledge of Assamese Language.
- Viva-Voce: 50 Marks.
- Candidates equivalent to 3 times the number of vacancies (1:3 ratio) will be called for the interview based on merit.
- Condition: Candidate must secure at least 50% marks in the written test to be qualified.
For Peon:
- Written Examination: 50 Marks (1 Hour).
- Syllabus: English, General Awareness, Mathematical Ability, Aptitude, and Knowledge of Assamese Language.
- Viva-Voce: 15 Marks.
- Selection ratio for interview is 1:3.
- Condition: Candidate must secure at least 50% marks in the written test to be qualified.
